About Us
More Than Childcare It's a Second Home
We believe every child deserves a place where they feel truly seen, loved, and excited to learn. At Precious Cargo, we build that place every single day.
Our Team
Dedicated Educators
We are proud to be a five-star rated facility with a highly educated and experienced teaching team. Our educators include teachers with Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, as well as professionals who have achieved Step 10 on the Oregon Registry. Our staff complete 24+ hours of continuing education each year, ensuring they continue to grow, learn, and bring high-quality early childhood practices into the classroom.
Curriculum
First-Rate Course Offerings
Our classrooms use Oregon’s adopted Creative Curriculum, providing engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s growth and development. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years across our South Salem, Church St SE, Keizer Center, and Keizer In-Home locations. Preschool Promise is also available for income-qualifying families.
Our Mission
A Home Away From Home
Our philosophy is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing “home away from home” where every child feels welcomed, valued, and supported. Through developmentally appropriate, play-based experiences, we encourage children to explore, learn, build confidence, and grow at their own pace while creating a strong foundation for future success.
